Costero and Mayan Tours
Our trip starts in Tegucigalpa or San Pedro Sula, depending on the place you choose as your starting point. We値l begin our trip by traveling on a paved road to the town of Copan Ruins where we値l rest in a 3 star hotel.
The second day in the morning we値l be visiting the majestic Copan Ruins in the Archaeological Park where we値l do a full tour of the ruins. After taking our lunch in town we値l go to the Eco-Hacienda San Lucas where we値l see the famous toad shaped stones that are part of the old Mayan civilization.
On the third day we値l travel to the Honduran Caribbean which will take from 5 to 7 hours on a paved road depending on the town on the beach you choose. The options are:
-The city of Tela
-The city of La Ceiba
-The island of Roat疣
All these places are beautiful and have many natural attractions so if you want to know more about them enter the Destinations area in our webpage so you can choose the one you prefer. There are many possible activities in each possible destination so the decision is open depending on your preferences and budget.
OPTIONAL TOURS IN THE BEACH
FROM TELA, you can take a ride of the bay area by boat, including a visit to the Garifuna community of Miami, a visit to the Jannete Kawas National Park and a stop in the Punta Sal reserve given by a tour guide.
FROM LA CEIBA, there are many options, you may visit Cayos Cochinos, the Pico Bonito National Park where you can practice canopy or kayaking on the Cangrejal River, or visit the Maria River or the Cuero y Salado Wildlife Refuge.
IN ROATﾁN, you can do many activities, scuba diving in the coral reefs; take scuba diving lessons in one of the many schools that prepare you to do this interesting activity.
Our tour will end with 6 days and 5 nights in a hotel, 3 days in the Mayan Ruins of Copan, and 3 days in beautiful white sand beaches in the Honduran Caribbean. We invite you to visit these exotic beaches and get to know the historical ruins of Copan.
At the end we値l take you back to the place you choose as your starting point.
